Galette des Rois
From Epiphany to Mardi Gras is King Cake season. Honoring the Three Kings (les rois) who visited the infant Jesus, bestowing gifts on the child, this festive, frangipane-filled pastry, is a traditional offering, baked throughout the month of January in France.
