We are currently seeking both part-time/ weekend staffers, as well a full time, retail member.

A retail staff member is an out-going, detail-oriented, service-focused individual. The position is either full-time Monday thru Friday and/or weekends, and availability to work at our Farmers Market locations.

Shift hours are 5am-4pm. We welcome serious applicants with retail experience. Bakery or Food Service background is a plus.

Duties

Bakery Retail/ Back of the House Associate’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Providing premier customer service

Maintaining high standards for product freshness and sanitation

Selecting and packaging products ordered by customers

Filling, maintaining and rotating products and displays

Preparing special orders

Operating cash register, bread slicer, and other retail equipment

Assisting in other duties, as assigned

Qualifications (Required):

16 years of age or older; positive and outgoing.

able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service

able and willing to work well with others as a team member

able and willing to read, write and perform simple math problems

able and willing to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems

Must be able to work Tuesday – Saturday, with weekend flexibility. This position could expand.

Work Conditions

Bakery Retail Associate’s duties are performed primarily in the Retail and Bakery space. Work includes walking, standing for prolonged periods, and lifting baked goods and products weighing up to 50 pounds. Duties also include frequent interaction with customers and associates.

Wage: Commensurate with experience.

Job Type: Full-time 35-40 hours per week with opportunity for position advancement.

We are hiring for a full-time; overnight product packer. $11.00 – $14.00 per hour

Reading and understanding recipes

Preparing cake donuts and raised donuts

Loading and unloading donut proof box and fryer

Decorating cake donuts and raised donuts

Operating other bakery equipment

Maintaining back up products as needed

Maintaining high standards for product freshness and sanitation

Training other associates as needed· Assisting in other duties as assigned

Qualifications (Required)

18 years of age or older

A Donut Maker’s duties are performed primarily in the Bakery department. A Donut maker may be exposed to various temperature changes and work environments. Work includes walking, standing, lifting, working with hot oil, frying, and carrying products weighing up to 60 pounds, eye-hand coordination and interaction with associates.

Positions: 1 Part-Time

Estimated hours: Part-time position: 3 days a week.

Saturday/ Sunday/ Monday: overnight

Compensation: $12/hour with experience. Review after 90 days.

A Cake Decorator’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, thefollowing:

·        Operatingthe Bakery mixers to make frosting, mousse, royal icing, et cetera.

·        Maintaininghigh standards for product freshness and sanitation

·        Organizing,rotating, and taking stock of the Decorator’s freezer

·        Assistingwith the delivery and set up of wedding cakes as needed

·        Duties also include repetitive arm and hand movements and hand-squeezing for at least85 percent of the workday.

 

Hours

Decorator Hours are 6am to 2pm Monday through Saturday,

Full-time: 5 days a week; must be available to rotate and work Saturdays.

Part-Time – 2 to 5 days a week (16 to 36 hours per week)

Must be able to work Saturdays and must be available to work around Holidays.

Part time has potential to move to a full-time position depending on employee performance and the needs of the organization.

Compensation:

 Commensurate with experience.
